They have a habit of just showing up.
Gale
Birthday: Jan 1, 2020 (guess)
Gale arrived on December 30, 2021. I was about to go on a date with Fay, stopped at the mailbox at the end of the driveway and Gale popped out of the ditch. Hungry little boy came running right up to me and climbed up my leg begging for food. He wound up coming on the date, which was not canceled. He had some cat food and Arby's with us.
We suspect he was a dump, his ear was clipped to show he was neutered and was far to friendly around humans to be a feral.
He is now very cuddly and fat, but quite active.
His birthday is based on the vet, whom I visited about a month later, estimating he was about a year old. His small size at the time was purely from being underfed.
The day he was found he joined us on our date.

Princess Dogmeat Tuttlebutt "Dogmeat"
Birthday: October 13, 2008
Dogmeat was found on the side of the highway on the same day Fallout 3 was released, and named after the canine companion of the game.
She loves people, ignores cats, but is ready to fight any dog she comes across. Growing up in the worst part of Dallas, her formative experiences were with street dogs and guard dogs, which were pretty bad experiences.
Her one true love is ball. All fetch, all the time.
Calypso "Lypsy"
Birthday: July 12, 2017
Lypsy was given to Fay by a Ren Faire worker who had to leave for an energency and promised to pick up Lypsy when they returned. When the energency was over, they decided they didn't want Lypsy back.
Lypsy is definitely a solo cat, and isn't too happy about the other cats she has to share the homestead with. Fortunately there's enough space for everyone.
Abyss
Birthday: Feb 14, 2023
Abyss came from the same litter as her sister, Athena. Always neuter your pets promptly, you won't always have someone take take your surprise kittens.
Abyss is a bundle of energy who tries to play fetch with the dog and glues herself to my shoulder at every chance. The tiny cat seems to be a perma kitten.
Athena
Birthday: Feb 14, 2023
Athena came from the same litter as her sister, Abyss. Always neuter your pets promptly, you won't always have someone take take your surprise kittens.
Athena is slightly, slightly more sedate compared to her sister. Also twice her sister's size.
The kittens got outside time in the pet cage until they were old enough to get fixed and have all their vaccines.

The Pope
The Pope is an albino peacock that roams the area. No idea if anyone owns him, but he's been around for several years and goes where he pleases.

We have a healthy deer population around the property. They keep their distance.
